We don't have a big problem here with bicycles on the roads but the rude people and aisle blockers are very common. What really gets on my nerves is when I stop to let someone cross the street or hold the door for someone and they don't even give a nod of thanks - makes me want to hunt them down in the store to run into the back of their heels with the shopping cart ;)Marthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12500564300569765406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5619147101584456392.post-69986080257993797612013-07-20T15:57:00.276-07:002013-07-20T15:57:00.276-07:00I don't want to sound like a cranky "old&...I don't want to sound like a cranky "old" woman. But in my childhood I never would have been permitted to go anywhere in pajamas and flip flops (including school, where I had to wear - gasp - a dress or a skirt until my senior year in high school. I'm glad dressing is a little more relaxed now (I can wear slacks and sandals at work, for example). Consideration for other people, though, has never gone out of style. My personal pet peeve? Talking on the phone in public. I do not desire to be subjected to people's personal business! bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06589840841266507266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5619147101584456392.post-49202844917838674452013-07-20T15:50:49.318-07:002013-07-20T15:50:49.318-07:00Interesting rant! Shopping during the day, during the week, is one of those perks! Shorter lines, nicer people (they aren't as rushed!), and I'm already dressed for my work day - so I don't have to worry that I look like I just came from bed! :)

LisaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03870683149408761955noreply@blogger.com
