There is nothing as splendid,
and I highly recommend it,
to view the beauty of the Christmas tree,
from the eyes of our little sweet pea.
The lights how they twinkle…
Wait! Those shiny wrappings have nary a wrinkle,
and now put thoughts into her mischievous mind,
that hopefully will lead to a wondrous find.
Without a thought to the obvious generosity
happiness is watching our child’s curiosity,
as she sneaks a peek inside the box,
and finds two brand new Christmas frocks!
Wishing you all moments of curiosity,

ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to Christmas Eve, when the grands will be opening their gifts around our tree. They've all oohed and aahed a little about the tree, the ornaments, and the lights--and have grinned like crazy at the stacks of boxes beneath it--but the real fun will happen next weekend.
