Four Calling Birds


Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it, including the sending and receiving of Christmas cards. When I moved out on my own, I started sending cards to all of my friends and family. And, I have kept up the tradition ever since! There hasn't been a year I've missed despite the times when the economy was so crappy!

I think what I enjoy the most about Christmas cards is the notes and letters I receive inside all these beauties! Since we live so far away from everyone, this is the one time of the year that I get to find out all the comings and goings of everyone! I occasionally include a letter/note or a holiday newsletter to inform people of what we have been up to the last year. Some people like the newsletter and some don't. I just send it to really good friends these days.

Some of my family members are creative and like to make their own like the ones below. I'd like to do that someday, maybe when I retire and have more time!
