Beach

I am drawn to the beach,
sitting quietly upon the sand.
It speaks to me a vast speech
of foretold destiny yet still unplanned.

Waves crash the shoreline,
carrying faint voices from afar.
Whispering in response to mine,
words of solace and sweet au revoir.

  11. Very nice Susan. It made me close my eyes for a minute so that memories could play the sound of the waves crashing over my feet.
