Juggling

Do you ever feel like you have become the master juggler?

How many things can you possibly keep up in the air before something falls and breaks? And when something does drop (splat), well... it feels like it is the end of the world. DRAT!

Work, home, school, kids, husband, groceries, laundry, meal preparation, relatives, friends, etc., etc., etc. Who has time for a personal life much less a moment to catch your breath?

I've had to learn the hard way that I can't do it all. My husband tells me this all the time. His favorite expression is "Take Off The Cape!" He's right and now that I've done that, I actually feel a little bit better. Now when I actually drop something it isn't as painful as it used to be. In fact, I can laugh about it. Let's be honest here, there is only so much a person can do. If I could juggle like this guy below, I might be more inclined to put the cape back on!

My wish for all of you is to take a breath and stop juggling...just for a minute, OK? It really is nice when you can take a moment just for yourself and breath...

Wishing you moments of non-juggling time!

  1. I prefer a non-juggling life! I don't how or why people want to fill their lives so full that there is no time for, wait for it, living.
Just enjoying the things you have worked to earn is what living should be and can be all about, but you gotta give up some stuff to get the time.
I am so glad I did this. I have never been happier or more creative.

  2. I do less juggling than I used to. Having grown kids and a more relaxed attitude about the "should" and "have-to" stuff helps a whole lot. :O)

  3. I have five kids--juggling is not something I'm good at--I've made it an official art form!! LOL. But seriously--it gets easier as they get older. I have a good crew. I'm one of those people that if I don't have something to juggle I feel as if I'm not doing something right. At the same time--I also juggle in me time and me and hubby time. I deserve it and so does he.

    Cheers, Jenn

  5. Ohhh, yes. I know this lifestyle! I have done my best to focus on the ONE thing... laser in and get so much more work done. Sometimes on the Mommy front it requires a lot of doing things one after another, on a loop, but what I am doing gets the best of me.

WORKS exactly as I need it to work!

Grateful I found you today on the A-Z Challenge!
